More than doubling in size since its inception, the hospital expands every year as the latest medical innovations are acquired and more clinicians join our team. A new 25,000 square foot state of the art surgical facility expansion opened in January 2012. Midwestern Regional Medical Center is accredited by the American College of Surgeons National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers for its excellent breast cancer program.
In 2011, Midwestern Regional Medical Center won the HealthGrades Outstanding Patient Experience Award. The hospital was one of only thirteen hospitals in Illinois to receive this award.
